Fall Baby + Me Yoga Session:
Nov. 6-Dec. 11
Weekly group classes focus on mindful yoga practices for all levels and abilities. These classes support the needs of those present and incorporate breath work, gentle/somatic/ and restorative yoga (supported yoga postures using bolsters, blankets or blocks), meditation and relaxation to help reduce stress, encourage re-connection with your own natural body/breath/life rhythms and increase overall well being.
Gentle/Restorative Yoga: These classes are appropriate for all levels and offer an opportunity to slow down and focus on mindful movement and a sense of well-being. Gentle floor yoga and supported restorative postures are taught along with movements that build greater strength and balance without creating tension and are back, neck, wrist and knee friendly.
Prenatal Yoga: These calming and nurturing classes combine gentle and restorative yoga to bring comfort, ease and vitality; endurance exercises to help strengthen body, mind and spirit for the transformative journey of labor. Relaxation & meditation techniques deepen your inner awareness, connection to baby and trust in your body. It is never too early or too late to begin a Prenatal Yoga practice.
Chair Yoga: Can’t get to the floor? We bring the floor to you! This gentle form of yoga is practiced sitting in a chair and standing, using the chair for support. Classes incorporate breath work, gentle movement, mindfulness and relaxation. Chair yoga is perfect for all levels and abilities, and is easily adaptable to meet your needs. From those with mobility issues to those desiring a more supported practice, chair yoga works with your body to improve strength, flexibility and resilience.
Baby + Me Yoga for wee ones ages 6-weeks to pre-crawling: . Babies enjoy yoga while on their backs, tummies or held in loving arms. Each class is filled with calming and nurturing ways to help support infant development, improve baby’s sleep and digestion and enhance bonding. Baby yoga songs and games encourage a playful, positive atmosphere. Parents are also guided through a gentle/restorative practice that provides the opportunity for rest and rejuvenation. * Bring a blanket and favorite toy for baby.

“It has been a true blessing to be able to attend Heather’s yoga classes, workshops and gatherings for the past seven years. Each one is a unique gift that continues to give for years after it is over. Her experience, wisdom, humor, kindness and innate talents shine through in her facilitating. She is a natural teacher and a joy to be around. She provides simple, easy to use practices that I carry into my every day life which provide immediate comfort and stress relief. I often tell people that a couple of hours with Heather is like a week long Zen retreat. You may come in overwhelmed by life, but you leave rejuvenated and excited to look at your life and daily practices in a new light. Anyone would truly benefit from attending Heather’s classes and workshops. It’s a gift of love and self-care that you can give to yourself and the people in your life. Thank you Heather for sharing your incredible talents and energy with the rest of us. You make this world a more loving, brighter and healthier place! Namaste!”
“I want to let you know how much I enjoy our Restorative Yoga class. I am feeling blessed that I have found such a nice group of women to share this experience with. And Heather, I am so pleased to have you as a teacher and I want to let you know you have already helped me learn to live in the moment and relax through whatever situation I may be in. It is GREAT to be able to say that.” – Carol B.
